Letme quickly give the list of ingredients and the method of preparation, as it requires gathering some and pre preparation is a must.
Ingredients:
Puris- homemade or store brought- 1 packet
Green peas/White peas dry- to be cooked in a cooker till very soft
potato- 1/2 kg-to be cooked in a cooker
Onion- 1
Tomato-2 medium
green chili- 3-4
Ginger garlic paste- 2tsp
Coriander and pudina/Mint leaves mix- 1 cup
carrot- 1 grated
Dhania jeera powder- 2tbsp
garam Masala- 2 tbsp
Sambar powder- 2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder-1tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Chilli powder- 2 tsp(Depending on hotness required)
Tamarind soaked water- lemon sized.
Sugar- a pinch
salt- to taste
oil- 2 tsp
Sev- for topping
Method:
- Place peas and potato in a cooker- 4 whistles. cool it
- chop onion, tomato, green chilli, ginger garlic , mint and coriander leaves and grind it in a blender till smooth.
- In a pan ,on gas add oil , ginger garlic paste and then add ground paste(Can skip if added in blender)
- cook till raw odour is gone. once the odour is gone add some water into blender clean and add it to the vessel.
- while it is boiling add in all the masala. simmer and keep it hot.
- Meanwhile in another pan mash peas and potato adding some salt and allow to boil.keep it hot.
- Plating:
- For plating take puri- 4-5 per plate crush it coarsely with hand, Add in peas mixture and masala which should have a flowy consistency.top it with chopped onion, grated carrots and coriander leaves.
- Finally add in sev, any .. and serve it really hot.
It should be consumed immediately as it can get soggy if we keep it as it is. So ideally plate it only when you are reasy to eat it,
