Sharing with you all the recipe for the same.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour- 1cup
Coconut milk- about 1 small cup
Salt- 2-3 tbsp
Cabbage- 2 cups chopped
carrot- 1 grated
Capsicum- 1 cut small
other veggies you prefer.
Ginger garlic and chilli paste- 1tbsp
onion/spring onion- 1/2 cup.
Oil- 2-4 tbsp
Water
Steamer? pan , perforated plate and vessel.
Method:
Filling:
Take a pan add oil, ginger garlic and chilli paste and saute well. add onion, capsicum chopped cabbage, carrot, and allow it to cook with salt.
Once cooked allow to cool.
Covering for Momos:
Take a cup of wheat flour, add salt mix and then add coconut milk.mix adding milk slowly until a tight dough is formed.
Allow to stand 5 min and then make small balls in the size of puri and roll out thin and even.
Place the filling in the centre and fold the edges by gathering slowly and pleat it slowly and keep all of it ready.
Mean while use a steamer, or boil water in a steamer and place a plate with perforation and brush plate with oil.
Once steam is coming out , place all the momos, brush oil over once again and place the lid or another vessel. allow steaming for 4-5 min.
Remove the lid ,check if cooked and then serve it fast with hot sauce, Momos chutney.
Can be eaten at any time of the day.
