Pineapple Kesari/ sheera

It is one of the popular sweet dish prepared for breakfast usually here in south india and also in wedding and some home functions as well as it is easy to make and generally liked by all. Let us see how easily it can be prepared and served.

Ingredients:
Rava- Medium/Bombay rava- roasted.-1 cup
Sugar- 11/2 cup- 2 cups 
Pineapples- 1 cup chopped
Ghee- more the better- 4 tbsp- 5tbsp
Elaichi powder- 1tsp
Kesar strands- 1 pinch
Milk
Yellow food colour/turmeric- pinch
salt - a pinch
Dry fruits of your choice


Take Rava and roast them dry or with ghee. keep aside to cool.
Chop pineapples and take them in a pan and add some water allow to cook.


Add 2 cups water and allow to boil. add sugar to this mixture. or you can add rava and then add sugar.



Add sugar, elaichi powder, keasri, food colour and rava and cook it rava is cooked, start adding ghee and allow to cook and once ghee starts coming at the sides of the pan close the pan with lid and in another pan take ghee and heat it.add dry fruits and roast them and then add the roasted dry fruits to sheera . now serve as you wish...
