Honey chilli potato


Well, bored of only french fries.. here is a varient of it which is jazzed up and doled up spicy and saucy and to this is added a unique flavour in the form of honey, which elevates the taste even further and this becomes a perfect party starter and a perfect snack partner or even serves as a fresh breadth in the form of starter and lift up the mood of any party you throw be it kids or kitty party. All the age group people are going to like the taste and will look for its recipe.

 Even i wanted to show this on my channel from the start and now the time has come. so here is the recipe of this favorite french fry extended got madeover and comes out as honey chilli potato.

Ingredients: 

Potato medium to big- quantity required
water for cooking potato
salt
chilli powder-
Ginger garlic paste- 2-3 tbsp
corn flour- 2-3 tbsp
oil for frying

for seasoning:
Tomato ketchup-4-5tbsp
Chilli sauce- 1-2 tbsp
Soy sauce-1-2tbsp
Vinegar white-2tbsp
Honey-3-4tbsp
Onion- 1 big
green chilli- 2-3
ginger garlic paste
capsicum- 1 medium
Spring onion
sesame seeds- 1tsp.


Method:

1. chop potato elongated/ as fingers. to obtain uniform shape and size, chop of the heads of potato on both sides and chop parallely and divide potato evenly .

2. Keep  onion, capsicum chopped julians , prepare ginger garlic paste or use the preprepared one or store brought. slit 2 green chillies and keep it ready.

3.In a pan take water add salt and allow it to boil. once boiling add the chopped potato and allow it to cook where it is not too soft and mushy nor too hard . To Check Just take the potato and give a slight press if you can feel it is cooked yet it is not breaking it is time to put the flame off and take potatos out immediately and strain them completely.

4.Allow to cool and once cooled add corn flour/maida for dusting-2-3 tbsp, chilli powder according to taste, salt, garlic and ginger paste just to coat the potato , do not add any water. give a gentle mix and toss them.just as the potato have coated gently;

5. Now add the coated potato into hot oil for frying. fry till golden brown.Take it out on a paper towel.fry all the coated potato fingers.

6. Now we will again fry the prefried potatoes second time till crisp and slightly golden brown. once ready strain and keep aside.

7. In a pan we will add oil-2-3 tbsp. Add ginger garlic paste, slit chillies,onion and fry till golden then add capsicum fry and saute till crunchy . add all the sauces and ketchup vinegar and salt to taste and toss them add honey mix well and then add the double fried potato and toss and mix well garnish with chopped green leafy  onion and sesame seeds for a good look and crunchy taste.

serve hotttt..!! yummy tangy sweet and spicy honey chilli potato is ready to be savoured.
